CEMEDINE SX-PPK1000(EXP) One-Part Moisture-Curing Elastic Adhesive for Polypropylene
CEMEDINE SX-PPK1000(EXP) is a one-part moisture-curing elastic adhesive specifically designed for polypropylene (PP). It enables bonding to difficult-to-bond PP without a dedicated PP primer or corona surface treatment, helping simplify production processes and improve work efficiency. The adhesive is based on acrylic-modified silicone and forms a flexible cured layer with excellent followability. This elasticity helps absorb thermal stress caused by differences in thermal expansion between dissimilar materials, making the product suitable for PP-to-dissimilar-material bonding. SX-PPK1000(EXP) is supplied as a slightly yellowish-white paste with a viscosity of approximately 120 Pa·s at 23°C, density of 1.23 g/cm³, and skin-over time of approximately 15 minutes. Official data lists tensile shear strength of approximately 1.6 MPa for PP containing 10 wt% talc, and 180° peel strength of approximately 93.1 N/25mm for PP-to-canvas bonding.
