CEMEDINE METAL LOCK Second-Generation Acrylic Structural Adhesive
CEMEDINE METAL LOCK is a second-generation acrylic structural adhesive (SGA) and is classified as the fast-curing grade in the METAL LOCK series. It uses a two-component acrylic resin system mixed at a 1:1 ratio and cures rapidly at room temperature without external heating. It combines high toughness, structural bonding strength, rapid room-temperature curing and low odor. CEMEDINE also states that the METAL LOCK series can develop adhesion even on surfaces with a small amount of oil contamination, making it well suited to metalworking and industrial production environments. At 23°C, both Part A and Part B have a viscosity of approximately 4,000 mPa·s. Pot life is approximately 30 seconds, with a set time of approximately 3 minutes. After curing, tensile shear strength is approximately 23.2 MPa and T-peel strength is approximately 5.0 N/mm.
