CEMEDINE EM139-2 Modified Water-Based Vinyl Acetate Emulsion Adhesive for Paper Tubes

CEMEDINE EM139-2 Modified is a water-based emulsion adhesive for paper processing, specifically positioned for general paper tube applications. It is based on vinyl acetate resin and is suitable for paper winding, tube forming and core manufacturing. The product is a milky white liquid with approximately 44% non-volatile content, a viscosity of approximately 4,500 mPa·s at 30°C, and a pH of approximately 4. Its relatively higher viscosity helps maintain a stable adhesive layer during paper-tube winding and lamination. CEMEDINE emulsion adhesives are water-based systems with lower flammability concerns than solvent-based adhesives. CEMEDINE also notes that these adhesives rely on penetration into the substrate and pressure during bonding, so coating amount, pressing pressure and pressing time are important for achieving reliable adhesion.
