CEMEDINE Y620 Metal Lock Slow-Curing Second-Generation Acrylic Structural Adhesive
CEMEDINE Y620 is a second-generation acrylic structural adhesive (SGA) in the Metal Lock general-purpose series, specifically positioned as the slow-curing grade. The Metal Lock series is characterized by high toughness, structural bonding strength, room-temperature curing, low odor and adhesion on slightly oily surfaces. Both Part A and Part B of Y620 have a viscosity of approximately 8,000 mPa·s at 23°C, with a standard mixing ratio of 1:1. At 23°C, the pot life is approximately 6 minutes and the set time is approximately 20 minutes, giving Y620 more working time than Y600, Y600H and Y610. Y620 provides a tensile shear strength of approximately 21.1 MPa, a T-peel strength of approximately 4.2 N/mm, and an elongation at break of approximately 25%, providing a useful balance between structural strength and flexibility.
