CEMEDINE Y612 BLACK Metal Lock High-Viscosity High-Heat-Resistance Second-Generation Acrylic Structural Adhesive

CEMEDINE Y612 BLACK is a second-generation acrylic structural adhesive (SGA) in the Metal Lock series. It is classified by CEMEDINE as a high heat resistance and high durability grade, offering high toughness, structural bonding strength, fast room-temperature curing, low odor and adhesion on slightly oily surfaces. Both Part A and Part B have a viscosity of approximately 15,000 mPa·s at 23°C, giving Y612 BLACK better shape retention and non-sag performance than the lower-viscosity Y611 Black S. The standard mixing ratio is 1:1, with a pot life of approximately 1 minute at 23°C and a set time of approximately 3 minutes. The product provides a tensile shear strength of approximately 29.2 MPa, a T-peel strength of approximately 4.3 N/mm, and a glass transition temperature of approximately 127°C, making it suitable for demanding structural bonding applications requiring both heat resistance and rapid assembly.
