NOK Klüber NOXLUB KF 0323 Ultra-Low-Temperature Low-Torque Fluorinated Grease
NOXLUB KF 0323 is an ultra-low-temperature fluorinated grease developed by NOK Klüber for machinery where conventional greases may harden or generate excessive starting torque under severe cold. According to official NOK information, the grease remains functional even at -80°C, with a recommended operating temperature range of -80°C to 180°C. The product uses specially selected fluorinated materials offering excellent low-temperature behavior and low leaching risk when exposed to chemicals, solvents and fuels. This makes it suitable not only for cold-environment machinery but also for water electrolysers, hydrogen stations and fuel-cell vehicles. In NOK low-temperature bearing torque tests, KF 0323 showed a steady-state torque of approximately 1 N·cm at -40°C, representing about a 95% reduction compared with a conventional multipurpose grease. At -75°C, steady-state torque was approximately 15 N·cm, around 50% lower than a conventional low-temperature fluorinated grease.
