NOK Klüber BARRIERTA SUPER IS/V Ultra-Low-Outgassing High-Vacuum Fluorinated Grease
BARRIERTA SUPER IS/V is a high-performance fluorinated grease for vacuum and semiconductor equipment developed by NOK Klüber. It uses a fluorinated base oil with PTFE thickener, is white in appearance and has an NLGI grade of 2. Its key advantage is its extremely low outgassing and ultra-low vapor pressure. The base oil has a vapor pressure of approximately 5.0×10⁻¹⁴ Pa at 20°C, resulting in very little oil evaporation even under high-vacuum conditions. BARRIERTA SUPER IS/V also provides excellent chemical stability. It does not readily dissolve in or react with many chemicals, solvents or fuels and can be used with many rubber and plastic materials. Typical applications include clean rooms, sputtering systems, vacuum metallurgy equipment, electron microscopes, vacuum pumps, vacuum deposition machines and continuous vacuum plating systems.
