Shin-Etsu KF-351A Polyether-Modified Silicone Fluid
KF-351A is a polyether-modified silicone fluid from Shin-Etsu Silicone. It is classified as a side-chain, non-reactive modified silicone fluid. The introduction of polyether groups into the silicone structure provides both the low surface tension of silicone and enhanced hydrophilicity. The product is water-soluble and water-dispersible and is also easily emulsified, making it particularly useful in water-based formulations. Its low surface tension and good permeability help improve wetting and spreading on substrate surfaces.
