Shin-Etsu Sealant 45N One-Component RTV Silicone Sealant
Shin-Etsu Sealant 45N is a one-component room-temperature curing RTV silicone sealant developed by Shin-Etsu Chemical. It reacts with moisture in the air and cures at room temperature to form an elastic silicone rubber sealing layer. Sealant 45N is an N-type oxime curing silicone sealant with very low corrosiveness. It has almost no corrosive effect on most metals except copper-based metals and provides stable adhesion to alkaline materials such as mortar and concrete. The product is a one-component formulation requiring no mixing. With suitable primers, it provides excellent adhesion to various substrates.
