Shin-Etsu G-501 Low-Noise Silicone Grease for Plastic Parts
G-501 is a silicone grease developed by Shin-Etsu for lubrication of plastic components and blower bearings where both lubrication and noise reduction are required. It has a white to pale-yellow appearance and provides good lubricity on plastics while being less likely to cause cracking of plastic materials. The product provides good lubrication performance on common engineering plastics such as PC, POM and ABS, making it suitable for plastic gears, sliding parts, rotating mechanisms and blower-bearing applications involving plastic components. Its service temperature range is -50°C to 150°C, supporting both low-temperature starting and elevated-temperature operation.
