Shin-Etsu G-30M Low-Temperature Silicone Grease
G-30M is the medium-consistency grade in Shin-Etsu's G-30 series of low-temperature silicone greases. The series uses silicone fluid as the base oil together with thickeners and functional additives, and is designed for applications where conventional mineral-oil greases are difficult to use at low temperatures. The G-30 series includes G-30F, G-30L, G-30M and G-30H with different consistency levels. G-30M is a grayish-white grease with a specific gravity of approximately 1.00 at 25°C, a worked penetration of 240–280 and a dropping point above 200°C. Its specified service temperature range is -60°C to 180°C. Low-temperature torque, oil separation, oxidative stability and volatile content are all specified for wide-temperature lubrication applications.
