NOK Klüber NOXLUB AU 0710 Grease for Preventing Crevice Corrosion of Aluminum
NOXLUB AU 0710 is a specialty grease developed by NOK Klüber for aluminum joints, housings and mating surfaces. When applied to fitted or connected areas, it fills small gaps between metal surfaces and helps reduce the risk of crevice corrosion on aluminum components. The product also offers good water resistance and can be used in contact with EPDM and VMQ materials. The grease uses ester oil as the base oil and a urea thickener. Its base-oil viscosity is 68 mm²/s at 40°C, with a consistency corresponding to approximately NLGI 1–2 and a dropping point of at least 250°C. The specified operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C, and the grease has a beige appearance. NOXLUB AU 0710 is mainly intended for ECU, inverter and converter housings, aluminum housing joints and other locations where aluminum-to-aluminum connections are present.
