SUMICO Sumiplex MP No.0 / No.1 Heat-Resistant, Water-Resistant Heavy-Duty Lithium Complex Grease
Sumiplex MP No.0 / No.1 is a high-performance lithium complex grease from SUMICO. The series provides excellent heat resistance, water resistance and shear stability, making it suitable for general machinery as well as high-temperature, heavily loaded and water-exposed applications. The formulation contains an organomolybdenum compound, providing excellent wear resistance and anti-seizure performance. This makes the grease especially suitable for highly loaded bearings, rotary kilns, steel-mill equipment and construction machinery. Sumiplex MP also shows little hardening at elevated temperatures, making it well suited to centralized lubrication systems where grease hardening could otherwise lead to blocked pipes or lubrication lines. Typical SUMICO applications include asphalt finishers, rotary-kiln bearings, high-temperature centralized lubrication points in steelworks and water-jet bearings. No.1 has a firmer consistency and is suitable for general bearing and heavy-duty lubrication, while No.0 is softer and more pumpable, making it particularly suitable for centralized lubrication systems. This difference is reflected in their official penetration values of approximately 325 and 365 respectively.
