SUNICE 4GS is a premium mineral refrigeration oil in the GS series from Japan Sun Oil Company. The series is manufactured from carefully selected naphthenic crude oil using a special hydro-refining process, providing good thermal and chemical stability. SUNICE 4GS corresponds to ISO VG 56 and has a typical kinematic viscosity of approximately 55.5 mm²/s at 40°C and 6.2 mm²/s at 100°C. Japan Sun Oil’s 2026 product information lists a density of approximately 0.917 g/cm³ at 15°C, a pour point of approximately -35°C, and a flash point of approximately 192°C COC. The product is suitable for a wide range of compressor types and evaporating temperatures.
