CEMEDINE SUPER X HYPER WIDE(AX-175/AX-176/AX-177) Multi-Purpose Clear Elastic Adhesive
SUPER X HYPER WIDE is a highly versatile elastic adhesive in CEMEDINE’s SUPER X series. It is designed to bond a very broad range of materials, including some substrates that are difficult for conventional adhesives, such as PP and PE. However, CEMEDINE notes that sufficient bond strength may not always be achieved on PP or PE. After curing, the adhesive forms a flexible bonding layer that absorbs shock and helps reduce peeling or separation caused by impact and movement. It also remains transparent after curing, making it suitable for applications where the bonded area should remain inconspicuous. SUPER X HYPER WIDE also provides good heat and water resistance and can be used outdoors. Its stated service temperature range is approximately -40°C to 90°C. However, it is not suitable for applications involving continuous water immersion. The adhesive is solvent-free, has relatively low odor and is formulated to resist sagging, making it easier to apply on vertical surfaces and uneven substrates. After application, the bonded parts should typically be joined after approximately 5–8 minutes.
