CEMEDINE PPX CA-522 Instant Adhesive Set for Difficult-to-Bond Materials
CEMEDINE PPX CA-522 is an instant adhesive set specifically designed for difficult-to-bond materials. The system combines a dedicated surface-treatment primer with a cyanoacrylate instant adhesive, enabling rapid bonding of materials that are difficult to bond with conventional adhesives, including PP, PE, POM, silicone rubber and selected fluorocarbon resins. The dedicated primer modifies the surface condition of low-surface-energy materials so that the instant adhesive can wet and bond more effectively. The PPX adhesive itself provides fast curing performance. Representative industrial PPX data lists a colorless transparent appearance, viscosity of approximately 10 mPa·s at 23°C and a set time of approximately 5 seconds. CA-522 is supplied as a 6 g blister-packed set with an easy-to-use pen-type primer. After assembly, the bonded parts generally become immobile within seconds to several minutes, while approximately 30 minutes is recommended before practical loading.
