Shin-Etsu KS-66 Oil-Compound Silicone Defoamer
Shin-Etsu KS-66 is an oil-compound silicone defoamer formulated from silicone oil and finely divided silica. Unlike emulsion-type products, this oil-compound type contains no emulsifier and does not inherently disperse in water, allowing the intrinsic defoaming properties of silicone to be fully utilized. The key characteristic of KS-66 is its rapid defoaming action. Shin-Etsu specifically positions KS-66 as a defoamer focused on quick response, with excellent defoaming performance and good dispersibility. KS-66 also complies with relevant Japanese Food Sanitation Act requirements for food-additive silicone resin applications.
