Daiwa Kasei VERZONE Crystal #270 Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor for Steel and Cast Iron
VERZONE Crystal #270 is a volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) developed by Daiwa Kasei Co., Ltd. It combines both fast-acting and slow-release corrosion protection, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from in-process rust prevention to transportation protection. In a sealed space, the inhibitor gradually vaporizes and disperses throughout the enclosure, allowing the active vapor to reach narrow gaps, cavities and complex metal surfaces. This makes it particularly suitable for steel and cast-iron parts that are difficult to protect by direct oil coating. The product is formulated with DICHAN (Dicyclohexylamine Nitrite) and DIPAN (Diisopropylamine Nitrite). It can be used as sachets or loose powder, and it can also be dissolved in water or alcohol for coating or spray application.
