Daiwa Kasei VERZONE ORIGIN OIL #220M High-Concentration Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor Oil Additive
VERZONE ORIGIN OIL #220M is a high-concentration volatile corrosion inhibitor oil additive developed by Daiwa Kasei. Rather than being limited to direct use as a conventional rust-preventive oil, it is designed to be blended into existing rust-preventive oils or base oils to give them a VCI effect. One of its main advantages is the flexibility to select the base oil according to the target component and application. A highly refined base oil is not necessarily required. However, VCI performance may be significantly reduced when the base oil contains high levels of sulfur, dust, moisture or suspended contaminants, or when recycled or degraded oil is used. ORIGIN OIL #220M also helps prevent discoloration and corrosion of nonferrous metals such as copper. In addition, Daiwa Kasei states that it causes little deterioration to many rubber materials used in oil seals and sealing components, making it suitable for equipment containing both metallic and rubber parts.

Adds VCI Protection to Base Oils:A small amount added to ordinary rust-preventive oil or base oil provides volatile corrosion inhibiting performance.
Flexible Treat Rate:For volatile corrosion protection, the recommended addition rate is 5%–10%. For contact rust prevention only, 0.5%–1.0% can be used.
Flexible Base-Oil Selection:The base oil can be selected according to the protected component and application, without requiring particularly high refinement.
Protection for Copper and Nonferrous Metals:Helps prevent discoloration and corrosion of metals such as copper.
Good Compatibility with Rubber Seals:Causes little deterioration to many rubber materials used in oil seals and sealing components.
Compatible with Conventional Rust-Preventive Oils:The formulation is specifically designed for good compatibility with general rust-preventive oils.
