Momentive TSE3941 Flame-Retardant One-Component Silicone Adhesive Sealant
TSE3941 is a one-component, fast-curing silicone adhesive sealant from Momentive. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form an elastic, flame-retardant silicone rubber. The product provides good adhesion to metals including copper, as well as plastics, ceramics and glass, with primerless adhesion available on many substrates. TSE3941 is UL94 V-1 recognized and meets the MIL-A-46146B corrosion test, making it suitable for electrical, electronic and industrial applications requiring flame retardancy, insulation, sealing and adhesion. Its service temperature range is -55°C to 200°C, with good weatherability, ozone resistance and chemical resistance. The uncured product is a white, non-flowable paste with a tack-free time of approximately 5 minutes at 23°C. After curing, it forms an elastic rubber with a density of approximately 1.65 g/cm³, Shore A hardness of 65, tensile strength of 2.9 MPa and elongation of 100%.
