Galden® HT230 PFPE High-Boiling Heat Transfer Fluid

Galden® HT230 is a PFPE (Perfluoropolyether) high-performance heat-transfer fluid in the Galden® HT high-boiling range. Syensqo currently classifies HT230 as a fluorinated PFPE fluid and highlights its dielectric properties, thermal stability, high-temperature resistance and non-flammability. Galden® HT fluids are designed for demanding thermal-management applications including semiconductor processing, chemical and pharmaceutical systems, vapor-phase heating, transformer and supercomputer cooling, recirculating chillers and nuclear applications. HT230 has a typical boiling point of 230°C, helping reduce evaporation losses during high-temperature service. It also provides excellent electrical insulation, with a typical dielectric strength of 40 kV at a 2.54 mm gap, dielectric constant of approximately 1.94, and volume resistivity of approximately 6×10¹⁵ Ω·cm.
