Galden® HT270 PFPE High-Temperature Heat Transfer Fluid
Galden® HT270 is a high-boiling PFPE heat transfer fluid from Syensqo, formerly Solvay Specialty Polymers. It belongs to the Galden® HT family of inert, dielectric, high-performance thermal fluids, whose boiling points range from 55°C to 270°C. HT270 is the highest-boiling standard HT grade. The fluid offers excellent thermal and chemical stability, broad material compatibility and low evaporation loss. It does not readily react with common heat-exchanger construction materials and helps minimize corrosion, decomposition residues and fluid-related pump problems. Galden® HT fluids are widely used in semiconductor manufacturing, including dry etching, CVD and PVD, as well as vapor-phase heating, recirculating chillers and electronic cooling. With a boiling point of 270°C, HT270 is particularly well suited to high-temperature heat-transfer applications.
