SEIKEN Brake Fluid DOT4 High-Performance Automotive Brake Fluid
Brake Fluid DOT4 is a high-performance hydraulic brake fluid for automotive braking systems. SEIKEN BF4 complies with FMVSS No.116 DOT4 and also meets JIS K 2233 BF4, ISO 4925 Class 4 and SAE J1704 Standard requirements. The fluid provides high dry and wet boiling performance to reduce the risk of vapor formation under high brake temperatures. SEIKEN’s published specification lists a JIS dry equilibrium reflux boiling point of at least 230°C and a wet boiling point of at least 155°C. Because glycol-based brake fluids absorb moisture during service, wet boiling point and low-temperature viscosity are important to long-term brake performance. DOT4 fluid is designed to maintain stable hydraulic response across a broad range of operating temperatures.
