SUMICO Sumitec Liquid P-011 Thin-Film Lubricant
Sumitec Liquid P-011 is a liquid thin-film lubricant in SUMICO’s Sumitec Liquid product family, intended for mechanical areas where conventional grease may be difficult to apply uniformly or where only a thin lubricating film is required. The current Sumitec Liquid range is based on a thin-film lubrication concept in which lubricating components are dispersed or diluted in a volatile carrier. After application, the liquid penetrates the contact area and the carrier evaporates, leaving a thin and relatively uniform lubricating film on the friction surface. This principle is clearly described for SUMICO’s current Sumitec Liquid H-series products. This type of lubricant is particularly suitable for sliding mechanisms, gears and fitted components in electronic equipment, OA equipment, household appliances and automotive interior assemblies where low lubricant quantity and noise reduction are important.
