YUWA MEL-2000 Heavy-Duty Alkaline Degreasing Cleaner
MEL-2000 is an oil-stain cleaner manufactured by YUWA Co., Ltd. It is designed mainly for industrial machinery, mechanical components and production areas contaminated with grease and oily residues. The formulation contains potassium hydroxide, nonionic and anionic surfactants, alcohol-based solvents, D-limonene and chelating agents, combining alkaline cleaning, surfactant action and solvent performance. The product is a colorless to pale-yellow liquid with an orange odor and a pH of 13.5±0.5, making it a strongly alkaline cleaning system. Its specific gravity is approximately 1.04, and it is miscible with water in any proportion, allowing the concentration to be adjusted according to contamination level and cleaning method. MEL-2000 is stable under normal handling conditions. However, because of its strong alkalinity, contact with acids and metals such as aluminum, titanium, zinc and their alloys, and chromium should be avoided.
