ENEOS PYRONOC UNIVERSAL 2 High-Temperature Extreme-Pressure Water-Resistant Urea Grease
ENEOS PYRONOC UNIVERSAL 2 is an NLGI 2 multipurpose extreme-pressure urea grease formulated with highly refined mineral base oil, an organic urea compound thickener and carefully selected additives including extreme-pressure and rust-preventive agents. ENEOS classifies it as a high-temperature, extreme-pressure and water-resistant multipurpose grease. The product provides good heat resistance, load-carrying performance, water resistance, oxidation stability and mechanical shear stability. It shows little penetration change at elevated temperatures and resists softening and oil separation under mechanical shear in gears and high-speed rotating components. PYRONOC UNIVERSAL 2 is suitable for steel-making equipment, continuous casting machines, rolling mills, heating furnaces, heat-treatment furnaces, electric motors, blowers and heavy industrial machinery. Its dropping point is above 250°C, with a typical operating temperature range of approximately -20°C to 175°C.
