NOK Klüber NOXLUB KF 2024 High-Vacuum High-Temperature Fluorinated Grease
NOXLUB KF 2024 is a fluorinated grease for vacuum and semiconductor equipment developed by NOK Klüber. It uses a fluorinated base oil with PTFE thickener, is white in appearance, and has an NLGI grade of 2. Its recommended service temperature range is approximately -50°C to 260°C. Its most important characteristic is its extremely low vapor pressure. The base oil has a vapor pressure of approximately 3.0×10⁻⁹ Pa at 20°C, resulting in very low oil evaporation under high-vacuum conditions. This makes it particularly suitable for semiconductor, vacuum and clean-environment applications. KF 2024 also offers excellent heat resistance and can be used in machinery exposed to chemicals, solvents and fuels. NOK Klüber also states that it is suitable for use with many rubber and plastic materials and complies with REACH restrictions concerning PFOA.
