COSMO GREASE HEAT RESISTANT A No.2 is a high-performance aluminum-complex grease designed for demanding industrial lubrication. COSMO describes it as a multipurpose high-temperature grease with good heat resistance, extreme-pressure performance and water resistance. The grease has a high dropping point and resists excessive softening and leakage under high temperature and mechanical shear. Its load-carrying performance also helps protect components against seizure and wear under heavy and shock loads. GREASE HEAT RESISTANT A No.2 has a worked penetration of 283, a dropping point of 254°C and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 150°C. Its good water resistance and low piping resistance also make it suitable for centralized lubrication systems.
