HONDA ULTRA HEVF-Type 1 Hybrid Electric Vehicle Transmission Fluid
HONDA ULTRA HEVF-Type 1 is a dedicated transmission fluid developed for Honda hybrid vehicle drivetrains, particularly e-CVT and e:HEV systems. Current Honda owner manuals specify ULTRA HEVF-Type 1 as the required transmission fluid for several hybrid models. The fluid is manufactured by Idemitsu Kosan and is based mainly on hydrogenated paraffinic hydrocarbons, with synthetic hydrocarbons and selected lubricant additives. According to the 2024 SDS, the total mineral-oil content is approximately 80% to 90%. ULTRA HEVF-Type 1 has a kinematic viscosity of approximately 23.15 mm²/s at 40°C, density of about 0.8259 g/cm³ at 15°C, flash point of approximately 202°C and pour point below -60°C, providing a balance of low-temperature fluidity and thermal stability.
