MOLYKOTE HP-300 High-Performance PFPE Grease
MOLYKOTE HP-300 is a high-performance fluorinated grease formulated with PFPE (perfluoropolyether) base oil and PTFE as both thickener and solid lubricant. It is an NLGI Grade 2 grease designed for severe environments where conventional mineral- or synthetic-oil greases may not provide sufficient performance. The product offers a wide operating temperature range of approximately -65°C to 250°C and a base-oil viscosity of about 160 mm²/s at 40°C. Its PFPE base oil has a very low vapor pressure of approximately 2.9×10⁻⁷ Pa at 20°C, making it suitable for high-vacuum, cleanroom and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. HP-300 also provides good resistance to chemicals, solvents, water and oxidation, while having little effect on most plastics, rubbers and elastomers.
