Fomblin® Y LVAC 06/6 PFPE Perfluoropolyether Vacuum Pump Fluid
Fomblin® Y LVAC 06/6 is a low-viscosity PFPE vacuum pump fluid in the Syensqo Fomblin® Y LVAC family. These fluids are specially developed with a narrow molecular-weight distribution, controlled viscosity and extremely low vapor pressure for high-vacuum systems, especially where aggressive gases are present. The product belongs to the PFPE (Perfluoropolyether) chemical family and provides low vapor pressure, excellent chemical inertness, good thermal stability, non-flammability, high dielectric properties and broad compatibility with metals, plastics and elastomers. Syensqo’s application guidance identifies Y LVAC 06/6 for rotary-pump sealing and lubrication, and for turbomolecular-pump lubrication, making it suitable for semiconductor, electronics, chemical and other demanding vacuum systems.
