KYODO YUSHI FR Grease L Modified Flame-Spread-Resistant EP Lithium Grease
FR Grease L Modified is a special fire-resistant extreme-pressure grease developed by KYODO YUSHI in response to increasing demand for flame-retardant lubricants in process industries. Its key feature is not absolute non-combustibility, but resistance to ignition and prevention of fire spreading. Once the external fire source is removed, the grease does not continue burning, helping minimize fire propagation. The product uses a mineral-oil base with a lithium-soap thickener and combines flame-spread resistance with strong load-carrying performance. In KYODO YUSHI’s high-speed four-ball EP test, the Last Non-Seizure Load is 981 N, compared with 784 N for the company’s conventional EP lithium grease, while the Weld Point is 2452 N. FR Grease L also offers good pumpability for centralized lubrication systems. Its relatively low apparent viscosity and resistance to plugging help maintain reliable grease delivery.
