KYODO YUSHI Adlex High-EP Shear-Stable Grease for Large Sealed Bearings
Adlex is a large-bearing grease developed by KYODO YUSHI specifically for roll-neck sealed bearings in hot and cold rolling mills. It uses a mineral-oil base with a lithium-soap thickener and is designed for heavy-load, water-exposed and severe-shear conditions. Compared with conventional EP lithium greases, Adlex provides one level higher extreme-pressure performance. KYODO YUSHI also states that its EP performance shows very little deterioration even in the presence of water, making it especially suitable for demanding steel-mill bearing applications. The grease also maintains good consistency under prolonged severe mechanical shear, helping reduce softening and leakage. This makes it suitable not only for rolling-mill bearings but also for general large sealed bearings.
