DEFRIC SPRAY 405 Molybdenum Disulfide Aerosol Solid Lubricant Coating
DEFRIC SPRAY 405 is an aerosol-type solid lubricant coating manufactured by Kawamura Research Laboratories. The official SDS identifies the product as an industrial solid lubricant coating intended for lubrication applications. The formulation contains approximately 8.9% molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) and 8.9% antimony trioxide, together with synthetic resin and an organic solvent system. Molybdenum disulfide acts as the primary solid lubricant, helping form a lubricating layer on friction and sliding surfaces. The liquid content is gray-black with an organic solvent odor. It has a specific gravity of approximately 1.1 at 20°C and a flash point of approximately -18°C. As a flammable aerosol product, it should be used with adequate ventilation and kept away from heat, sparks and open flames.
